Virginie is a little, slightly shy doll girl. We gave her a self-made cloth punch to have someone to cuddle up. She has a fine auburn mohair wig, which is handmade, and hand-knotted eyelashes. Her face is painted very delicately.
Her pink silken taffeta dress has covered buttons in the front. Collar and cuffs are of off-white taffeta, embroidered with fine little roses. In her hair she has a bow of matching pink taffeta. Her underwear is made of fine cotton and organdy. She is wearing handknitted cotton socks and white leather shoes. Virginie is a porcelain doll.
